The main international airport for the metropolitan area of St. Louis, Missouri, in the United States is St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Usually known to as Lambert Field or just Lambert, this Missouri airport is the biggest and busiest one. There are 3,793 acres of land at the airport. Situated in unincorporated St. Louis County between Berkeley and Bridgeton, STL is 14 miles northwest of the city's center. The airport offers nonstop service to airports in the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, and Europe in addition to airports around the United States. It handled close to 16 million passengers in 2019. More than 270 departures per day were made to 80 nonstop local and international destinations in 2023.

Airport St. Louis Lambert is owned and managed by the City of St. Louis. The local agency in charge of overseeing day-to-day operations is the St. Louis Airport Authority. The MetroLink mass transit rail system links St. Louis Lambert International Airport to various locations within the St. Louis metropolitan area. In the future, the airport will also be connected to MidAmerica St. Louis Airport, which is located approximately 37 miles east and serves as the region's secondary commercial airport.
