Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is the primary commercial airport serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. It is located in the city of SeaTac, which is named after the nickname of Airport “Sea-Tac”. It is located approximately 14 miles (23 km) south of Downtown Seattle and 18 miles (29 km) north-northeast of Downtown Tacoma. It is also known as the busiest airports in the pacific Northwest region of North America and is owned by Port of Seattle. According to the 2018 reports on daily basis, the average 1,233 aircraft operations per day including, 99% being commercial flights, 1% air taxi operations, and less than 1% transient general aviation and military.

The airport covers an area of 2,500 acres (3.9 sq mi; 10 km2). The airport has flights to diverse cities including North America, Oceania, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The airport is also known as the primary hub for Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Horizon Air, etc. It is also a hub and international gateway for Delta Air Lines, which has expanded at the airport since 2011. By the year of 2022 there were 31 airlines that operates at SEA, which serves 91 domestic and 28 international destinations. The SEA Airport has 3 terminal buildings, including Main Terminal and 2 satellite terminals (North and South). The Main Terminal is divided into 4 concourses (A, B, C, and D). The Concourse A contains 16 gates, Concourse B contains 17 gates, Concourse C contains 27 gates, Concourse D contains 17 gates, North Satellite contains 20 gates and South Satellite contains 14 gates. And passengers can enjoy the lounge service at all terminals.
