Situated in Volusia County, Florida, three miles southwest of Daytona Beach and next to Daytona International Speedway, is the county-owned Daytona Beach International Airport. The airport features an international terminal with six gates and three runways. The main office of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is located in Daytona Beach. The sand at Daytona sand was well-known for being a firm, smooth, and generally clean surface for cars, which would often race on it. Pilots started utilizing the beach as a runway as soon as they recognized how useful the compact sand was. Later hangars were constructed, and beachside aircraft servicing was offered. There were just two successful beach airports, including this one that closed.

From there, there are hundreds more connections available worldwide!  The entrance to Southern Connecticut and the New York region, New Haven, CT, is served by nonstop flights operated by Avelo Airlines twice a week. LED video walls and flight and gate information display monitors are examples of modern technology. New airlines can readily link to their own networks using common usage technology at the ticket counters. A mother's room and a newly remodeled business center are among the new passenger facilities. Over half of the recently installed terminal seating has integrated charging outlets. Daytona Beach International Airport offers the most convenient parking available. You have the option of curbside drop-off or parking only a few feet from your gate and the terminal.
