Capital Region International Airport

A public Class C airport, Capital Region International Airport (previously Lansing Capital City Airport) is situated in a part of DeWitt Township, Michigan, three miles (5 km) northwest of downtown Lansing. The airport was annexed by the City of Lansing under Public Act 425. The airport is partially situated in the towns of Delta and Watertown. It is included as a non-hub principal commercial service facility in the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021. The Capital Region Airport Authority is an eight-member governing board that owns and runs the airport. Ingham County is represented by three members, while the City of Lansing is represented by three members. Eaton County and Clinton County are represented by two ex officio members. Furthermore within the Airport Authority's jurisdiction is Mason's Jewett Field (TEW). In 2021, 8,085 charter passengers and 180,385 scheduled passengers, according to the Airport Authority, arrived at or left the airport.

The goal of the Capital Region International Airport (LAN) is to simplify air travel. LAN strives to give travelers a hassle-free experience despite being a minor airport. Getting you on your way as soon as safely and swiftly as possible is the airport's mission, regardless of when your journey starts or finishes at LAN. Direct access to some of the biggest airport hubs in the nation is offered by LAN. You may travel practically anyplace with your passport from there. Seasonal direct flights are also offered by the airport to well-liked holiday locations, including foreign locations. With three runways and 1,500 total parking spots among short- and long-term parking lots, the Capital Region International Airport is a busy airport. The short-term parking lot has a grace period of fifteen minutes. Although the long-term lot often offers cheaper prices, the short-term lot is located closer to the terminal building.

The Airport has all the usual services and facilities that one would anticipate from a larger airport, such as free WiFi, a full-service cafeteria, convenience stores, and equipment for people with disabilities. The Capital Region International Airport facilitates easy travel with a range of ground transportation choices and accessible, reasonably priced parking for both short- and long-term stays.
