Alpena County Regional Airport is a public-use and joint civil-military airport in Alpena County, Michigan, United States. The airport is located 11km west of the central business district of Alpena. This county-owned airport straddles between Maple Ridge Township on the North and Wilson Township on the south.  It is one of the main hosts among the four National Guard Combat Readiness Training Centers in the U.S. Nevertheless, the airport is mainly used for general aviation. This airport is in partnership with Skywest Airlines that offers commercial airline facilities for Delta flights. Passengers can book these flights for their journey from Detroit to unlimited Destinations. On the other hand, freight services are provided by an affiliate of FedEx Feeder. There are two runways of this airport. One of them is the north/south runway that is situated at the height of 9000 feet. The other one is the crosswind runway that is situated at the height of 5030 feet. Both of these runways cover the area of 3000 plus acres. 

Coming to the terminals of this airport, the former terminal building of Alpena County Regional Airport is painted with blue and white colors and consists of important services for passengers. Whereas, right next to it is the new passenger service. These services are full fuel service for both 100LL and JetA, ground power, lavatory services, baggage services, potable water delivery, catering and ground transportation coordination. Besides these services, the airport is well-known for transportation services such as Crossroads Auto Rental, Alpena Cab Service, City Cab and Dial a Ride. Passengers can access these services during the airport hours that are operational between 8:00 A.M and 12:00 P.M and between 1:00 P.M and 4:30 P.M from Monday to Friday. 

While most of the other airports charge passengers for parking their cars, the Alpena County airport has a free parking area for all of them. It also has a video service which is known as Convention and Visitor Bureaus (CVB) that being the key to the city can save visitors time and budget.
